Cuba Retrospective

threeASFOURcuba is both a retrospective runway show and exhibition of films. threeASFOUR aimed to work with local Cuban arts institutions and collaborate with local musicians, dancers, craftsmen and models. The runway show is comprised of a curated selection of designs from each of the trio’s collections since 2005, with several new designs that pay homage to Cuban culture. Their designs showcase a variety of techniques from the ancient to the most cutting edge, including circular patterns; extensive use of hand embroideries and handcrafts; intricate laser cut fabrics and leathers; digital fractal prints; as well as the use of 3D printing techniques. threeASFOUR are the first foreigners ever invited to stage a fashion show at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes Cubano.
