The concept of parallel universes has long captivated scientists. The existence of multiple, co-existing universes, each governed by its own laws and logic, offers an infinite array of creative possibilities. It is in this spirit of technological and artistic innovation that threeASFOUR launches ‘Parallel Universe’ for Fall 2023 Couture.

This collection explores co-existing universes of the physical and the digital. Each physical, handcrafted garment exists in parallel with a digital counterpart. Each realm has its own technologies, its own logic and vocabularies, but they share the drive of human creativity. One material, one virtual, both equally real. As the viewer traverses these 23 looks, they may find themselves questioning the boundaries between the physical and the digital. These garments may be based on the aesthetics of AI, but each is designed and crafted by humans.

Building upon the house’s legacy of collaboration, this collection is designed in partnership with Placebo, a digital fashion house that shares threeASFOUR’s commitment to uncovering new realms of creative innovation and embracing technological advancements. Special recognition goes to Alessandro Zomparelli, for his work on the 3D printed garment, along with the house’s long-standing partners, Stratysys.
